Ms. Recker has had recent victories at the appellate court that have led to precedent setting appellate opinions:
Sparks v. Sparks, WD 76014, clarified multiple financial issues relating to the division of marital assets including a closely held corporation; property equalization payments; the application of the appropriate interest on property equalization payments; and addressed maintenance and issues of appropriateness of certain evidence.
D.S.K., N.B.K. and B.N.K. by and through their Next Friend, J.J.K v. D.L.T.’ R.S.K et al. WD 76789; Ms. Recker obtained a favorable judgment on behalf of her client in this matter that addressed whether a non-related party could intervene in a Paternity action for the purpose of asserting custody and/or visitation rights.
